I'm an experienced bass guitar player. playing in a number of projects over the years and working as a trusted dep for many of Scotlands best function bands.

I'm currently playing with the 3AM function band based in Scotland, along with a few side projects.

I played all over the UK and ocassionally abroad with this fantastic tribute to the queen of pop.

I held down the low end and occassionally broke into Meatloaf vocals when this firecracker of a tribute started. Brought to you by the same team as Vogue Madonna.

Oliver Thomas Armstrong
Raw and heartbreakingly honest signer songwriter based in Newcastle. I've been honoured to contribute bass to the last couple of albums he's produced.
Tigermoth Tales
Co-wrote several tracks and featured as a voicover artist on the tracks 'Tears of Frigga' and 'The Ballad of Longshanks John'.

Gear

I'm used to playing in a variety of setups. Let me know what you need and I'll see if I can support it.

Basses

I play Fender Jazz 4-string Longhorn as my main bass. With active pickups and Drop-D, she can handle most of what I throw at her.

I also have a Fretless bass for when you need a little more melody in your bass parts.

Onstage sound

I use an HX Stomp as the brains of my operation, feeding a DI straight from that to the desk.

I can operate a silent stage with Shure 535 in-ears, a monitor with Mackie speakers or go full throttle with a 600W Ashdown ABM going through a 4x10 Markbass cab.

Vocals

If you need me to sing (with or without bass), I use an SE V7, but also have access to an Shure 58 Beta if you prefer.

I can use in-ears, bring a monitor or work with the equipment you supply.

Recording

I use Presonus equipment to record bass parts. I typically supply dry and processed parts if required using the HX VST to give your producer full flexibility.

I record vocals using an SE 2200.
